This week on our 8 week Kundalini Yoga & Meditation Chakra Cleanse we move onto our Aura.
As you read the information below, begin to connect to how your Aura may be manifesting in your life. Perhaps you feel quite in balance and strong in some of the areas mentioned. Maybe you feel you need a little balance and strengthening. Whatever comes up for you, bring it along to class to consciously work through your Aura to cleanse and bring balance to these areas of your life.
Location: The electromagnetic field all around us
Qualities: The aura combines the effects of all the chakras and constitutes their total projection. The aura projects and protects.
Shadow: Shy, withdrawn, vulnerable
WHAT IS THE AURA?
The Aura is the vibrational field of energy surrounding our body and is formed by the patterns and level of development of each of the other Seven Chakras.
The repetition of our thoughts, behaviours and feelings also affect our Aura. We program this field with these receptive thoughts, behaviours and feelings and these patterns attract the events, relationships and experiences of our lives.
WEAKENING THE AURA
Everyone is unique in what stimulates their Aura. Some like bright lights and loud music, it stimulates and fills their Aura. Others get high on silence and calmness. Whichever you may be, we are continually subjected to different environments and so strengthening our Aura and Nervous System helps us maintain self-focus, withstand assaults, and be less reactive.
Our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health are registered in our Aura and in our Arc Line. Our Arc Line runs from ear lobe to ear lobe forming a halo around our head. Disease or Illness is apparent in our Aura and Arc Line before we manifest the physical symptoms of illness and stress. If we purify and strengthen our Aura our diseases can disappear.
Illnesses, invasive medical procedures, accidents, physical traumas, shocks and drugs all disturb the strength of our Aura. When this energy field is disrupted, we lose a sense of ourselves. We can become oversensitive and vulnerable and find it difficult to shut out sounds and energies that previously did not bother us. Taking time to isolate ourselves and nurture ourselves is recommended to rebuild the Aura after serious environmental disturbance.
Serious trauma can give messages to this subtle body that it is not safe to be here. To feel safe, we tend to avoid feeling our body. Being in our body is important to maintain a strong Aura. Therefore our connection and grounding in our First Chakra is imperative to establishing a strong Aura and maintaining a comfort zone of feeling inside our body.
We can become overprotective and avoid threatening situations when our Aura is weak as we experience being used by other people, zapping our energy or we can become too open, clinging to others to fill ourselves up and become depended upon their energy to feel safe and energised.
STRENGTHENING THE AURA & OUR ATTRACTION
Our whole Chakra System combines, working consciously, subconsciously or unconsciously to determine what we project, energetically ask for and attract. This combination creates our electromagnetic, Auric field.
The overall strength of our Aura gives us the sensitivity to magnetise, perceive, respond to, grab and hold on to opportunities. We have to be connected to the Earth and to our body to receive. Yogi Bhajan says that the human Aura can extend up to nine feet in every direction and that the depth of the Aura into the Earth determines our ability to attract and keep money. He says that our Aura connects from our heel and the centre of our foot into the Earth.
One way to extend and energies our Aura is to wear white natural fibre clothing. White reflects all of the colours where as black absorbs all of the colours and reduces the light and size of our Aura.
When we clean and claim our Aura and establish our own personal domain, we can help others more effectively and be unattached to the outcome. When our Aura Vibrates the pure light of our soul, the joy of uplifting others further illumines our Aura.
"Our most effective protection is to shine our own truth so brightly that all negativity is repelled and only the light of love radiates from our being and enters to nourish our core. Our most powerful communication is to radiate the Light of our Soul so powerfully that everyone feels loved in our presence" (Your Life is in Your Chakras by Guru Rattana Ph.D)
LOVE AND TRUST THE DIVINE
"One of Yogi Bhajan's over aching themes was about changing our mode of living from "pain and struggle" to "relax and attract" mode. This shift in consciousness involves both loving and trusting the Divine. Through love of the Divine, we activate the cosmic law of reciprocity. The more we love, the more we are loved. Mutual love arranges our affairs. It is the alignment that creates the magic. Prosperity is also related to trusting the Divine. Yogi Bhajan says that when we trust the Divine, Mother Nature can work for us." (Your Life is in Your Chakras by Guru Rattana Ph.D)
