You can participate in Kundalini Yoga & Meditation classes on a casual basis (Yoga $25 per class, Meditation $20 per class) if you cannot make most of the 8 week's of classes below or have missed out on starting the course with us as you will still benefit from the transformative power of Kundalini Yoga & Meditation, however 8 week's of classes will enable you to receive the full benefit of what is described below :)

To break a habit and create a new one is just about the most challenging (and sometimes confronting) thing to do, so if you're really inspired this year to cleanse your mind, body & spirit as well as learn sustainable ways to continue these happy, healthy habits throughout the year, then we would love to support you!

In this 8 week Course we will be working through the Chakra's with Kundalini Yoga &/or Meditation to cleanse and clear our energetic bodies, transform our mindset & balance our emotions and, if you're excited by the idea of also cleansing your body and establishing sustainable healthy eating habits, Naturopath Suzie Weber has designed a gentle cleanse that you can do alongside the Yoga &/or Meditation with loads of support, recipes, meal plans and educational emails so you can ease your way into loving habits throughout the New Year.

what are the chakras?


Chakra is a Sanskrit word which translates to mean "Wheel". Chakras are spinning wheels of energy that align with the major nerve centres along the spine. These nerve centres emit energy which communicates messages through the nerves within the body to coordinate the functions of the body and also this energy vibrates around the body expressing our level of consciousness in different aspects of our lives. 

Kundalini Yoga & Meditation recognises Eight major Chakras being:

The Root Chakra which expresses our consciousness around family, security and money;
The Sacral Chakra which expresses our consciousness around relationships, emotions and sex;
The Navel Chakra which expresses our consciousness around our personal power, will and motivation;
The Heart Chakra which expresses our consciousness around our interrelation with others, our inner peace and our willingness to be in flow with what is in life;
The Throat Chakra which expresses our consciousness around our communication and creation;
The Third Eye Chakra which expresses our consciousness around our intuition and vision;
The Crown Chakra which expresses our connection to the Universe, Spiritual Realms and our feelings of trust in the Divine plan for our lives;
The Aura which expresses our Chakra System as a whole out into the world and with others.

As we practice Kundalini Yoga &/or Meditation throughout the 8 weeks we will be covering one Chakra a week, delving deep into how it may be currently expressing in our lives, cleansing and balancing each Chakra in class together and receiving "take home" practices that will keep us balanced, cleansed and aware of how each Chakra may be manifesting as we go into our future. You will not only notice your physical body becoming stronger, more balanced and energised but the areas of your life that each of the Chakras relate to will also shift, change and transform for the better.

what can i expect in the naturopathic cleanse?

Naturopath Suzie Weber will be guiding us through a Gentle 6 week Cleanse to support our body as we begin to shift our energy systems, mindset and emotions with Kundalini Yoga &/or Meditation around the different Chakras and areas of life in which they relate.

In Week One Suzie will offer an inspiring Workshop on all things "Cleanse". This is the time to have all your questions answered as well as learn more deeply about your body, it's systems and how to lovingly replace old habits with new healthy ways of eating and being. You will also receive a healthy habits supporting gift pack!

In Week Two you will slowly introduce healthier foods to replace unhealthy habits. It will be a slow lead in so that you can make sustainable changes. Suzie will support you each Week with new recipes, a menu plan, and helpful emails letting you know what to expect and how to best support yourself.

Week Three through to Week 5 you will have eliminated foods and substances that put pressure on your body's innate Cleansing abilities and gotten into the swing of a new healthy way of eating, you'll be inspired by the weekly emails from Suzie, loving the new meals and reciepes you'll be experimenting with and you'll be feeling more energised, clear minded and emotionally stable.

Week Six you will finish the cleanse and have a one-on-one 30 minute Consult with Suzie as you begin to reintroduce foods, you can ask any questions that have arisen and she will give you great tips to continue to keep the habits that resonated with you and that you feel will support you into the future. Balance is key!

when?

Classes will begin on Monday 1st February 2016 held on the days/times below, with the last classes being in the week of the 21st March 2016. You can choose from different class times each week or stay in the same class time. The choice is yours from week to week.

what do i bring to class? 

Yoga mats are provided. I suggest bringing a towel or a sheep skin rug for extra comfort on your mat. Kundalini Yogi's use Sheepskin Rugs as they help to reduce static electrical energy that may interfere with the energy movement through the Kundalini Yoga practice. This is of course not compulsory, just an idea ;-)

Bring along a blanket or shawl to cover yourself at the end of the practice for relaxation time. This is an important time to help your physical body, mind and energetic body integrate all of the great work you will have done. It's important to feel safe, relaxed and comfortable for a deeper experience. And a good blankie always helps that doesn't it? ;-) 

Wear comfortable clothing (yoga pants, tracksuit pants, shorts) and perhaps some layers on top. There will be times you may get hot during the practice and other times that are meditative where your temperature may drop. Your shawl or blanket will help with this too, but I suggest layers. 

You're welcome to wear white if you like although not compulsory. Kundalini Yogis wear white as this colour reflects all that is outside of you so that you can go fully within yourself. It also expands our auric radiance by 1 foot. Watch out in the front row! ;-)

You're also welcome to wear socks if you like. Most of our practice will be seated so you're welcome to wear socks throughout the practice to stay warm as you choose.
