Week One
Introduction to Meditation: For those who are beginning a meditation practice or those who are old timers, it’s always helpful to gain a fresh perspective on what meditation is, how it works and how can you apply it. We also set an intention of what we would like to create within the 6 week course and we begin with a guided meditation that makes meditating easy for beginners and adds depth for those who are practiced meditators. Week Three Health & Healing: We’ve all heard that meditation can have positive effects on our health, but how does that work and how can we apply it? We learn all about the stress response and how to induce the relaxation response, as well as how our thoughts and beliefs can impact on the health conditions we manifest. This week our meditation helps us connect with our inner healer within. Week Five Creating Change & Manifestation: How can meditation help me create all that I desire for my life? This week we learn how our subconscious habits impact on what we are experiencing in our lives and how meditation gives us access to not only see those habits but rewire them to align with what we wish to create and experience. We practice using our subconscious during meditation to create our Ideal Day. |
Week Two Breathing and Emotions: How is breath awareness during meditation so transformative and how can it help us with how we are feeling? We learn how to best use our breath for transformation, how the breath works in relation to our emotions and how to use meditation to move through our various emotional states. Week Four Relationships: Meditation might help me and my life, but how can it make a difference with how I relate to others or even how others relate to me? Learn how meditation can help you tap into the power you didn’t realise you had within your relationships. Our meditation this week helps us calm our heart and open to more love in our lives. Week Six Mindfulness: What does this buzz word “mindfulness” mean? This week we learn how to apply meditation every moment of every day to make our lives richer, more rewarding and connected. We also review our intention that we set in the beginning of the 6 weeks and marvel at how it has unfolded. |
how does it work online?
Once you sign up below with PayPal you will be sent to a page with a link where you can request to be added to the Beginners Meditation Online with Mish Facebook Group. I will then add you and you can watch my Introduction Video.
Each week I will join you on Facebook Live video in this Beginners Meditation Online Facebook Group on a Monday morning 8.30am Sydney EST (you don't have to be available at this time and can watch on REPLAY) to guide you through each week of this course (as listed above), answer your questions and speak about and support you in how the content may personally relate to you. I will also guide you through a 20 minute meditation weekly. There will also be Workbook Content posted in the group to support you, Meditation Instruction Sheets and links to the Recorded Meditation for the week to ensure you get the best results from our time together.
You can join me for the LIVE class on Monday mornings and engage LIVE with me and the others in the group or if you can't make the LIVE class times (which is totally fine!), you can schedule in another time that suits YOU to watch the REPLAY. The REPLAY'S are kept in the Group throughout our time together. The only thing I ask, for your benefit, is that you schedule to watch the REPLAY within a week of the LIVE date, so before I record the next LIVE video. That way you will keep up to date with us week to week and I can support you more fully.
And just so you know, when I'm LIVE with you, I can't see you and neither can anyone else. You can just see me! So no need to dress up, just be comfy and somewhere you have the space to listen, so you get the most out of the course.
You can ask me questions and get support LIVE by commenting on the videos (and you can also do this on REPLAY although I'll be replying to you through comments rather than on the LIVE video) and, if you'd like to, you can connect with other Members of our Group also through the comments section. And another "just so you know", no one will be able to see you but everyone can see your comments, which is actually really helpful to everyone else in the Group. what do i need?

You DON'T need to be in a place of complete silence.
It's a great skill that you'll want to practice as we begin meditating together, to just be with life the way it is, noise and all, because as we know, life never just stops, slows down and gets silent just for us (however much we wish it would!)

Coming across the course was almost coincidental. When I heard of the course, all of the topics seemed to be exactly what I had needed to get me back on track and better handle my life. I achieved the main intentions that I set at the beginning of the course which word to understand and work with my emotions. I feel more okay, accepting and able to handle them better. I am also able to better maintain and have strengthened a healthy relationship with my partner. My emotional troubles often go between us a lot. Now it doesn't. We are much closer and it feels like more of a two way street. I'm able to contribute more and also give more attention to him. I also feel more intune with myself and more open to my intuition.
